1 dont delete comments its always abit shady when you see like 10+ deleted comments
not a good look for your game at all
2 fix your game because ive honestly had more effort trying to play your game then doing anything else this is about as bad as trying to install mods for skyrim and if you know how bad that is then you notice that this isint great to get people to buy your game on patreon
alt if you want to delete messages maybe post the message yourself and the reason it was deleted to prove you aint deleting negitive comments about your game
sadly unlike if you were having personal talks on say x or other programs ya deleting bad comments there would be fine
issue with doing this in game design is it makes the devs look bad deleting comments generaly is seen as a very shady thing for any dev to do its generaly frowned apon by all gamers and should generaly be avoided at all costs
dont feel like you need to moderate your comments let your fans prove to the haters their wrong only really take down the really bad stuff aka if its against the law
Thanks for your comments and suggestions, Hunter. I’ve taken most of the feedback into account and am currently working on a new update. The gameplay and game design will be entirely different this time. Yes, I did delete some comments because they were personal attacks. For example, being called “greedy” just didn’t sit right with me. After all, two weeks of day-and-night coding only resulted in $200 in total revenue.
If I were really greedy, trust me, I would’ve published the game on Steam and made 50 times more. But my goal is to build a community and work on meaningful projects. Sure, this game might not be liked by everyone or could be considered bad—that’s totally up to the players. Every comment about the game, whether positive or negative, is valuable and important to me.
However, when the comments are directed at me personally, I delete them, and I don’t regret it. Those people don’t know me or understand what I’m trying to achieve. And frankly, I don’t need people like that around. They can go enjoy the broken games made by giant companies all they want.
did they say any details or just calling you greedy i mean it dont help that most people dont understand how hard game design can be depending on your overall skills
someone whos a pro at coding model design and general game stuff can make a game pretty quickly but if your still learning this can take years
honestly anything 5$- for early access is fine and if you deside to forget your game id either suggest providing your next game for free to people who bought your last game
i had found a dev who had made 1 game i bought and then they made a 2nd game and recently they made a 3rd
i have no issues with devs making two games at the same time because deving boredom can happen
but 3 games with no updates on your first game i do mind that right there to me is shady
i wonder if they thought you were greedy because premade assets or something this is why you shouldint delete stuff because theres always some reason both to defend a dev but vice versa instead of deleting the comments maybe you should talk with them about how you do your deving and why you aint greedy
1, the menus are extremely buggy and i had to restart 3 times before i could get out of the start area. doesn’t help the intro was unskippable
2, the game is very CPU heavy. i’m assuming it’s because of all the randum stuff on the floor, which is very easy to get stuck into. this is on the lowest settings
3, didn’t see a single chaser after I poked around the 1st floor for 30 min, saved the NPC and plugged all the cables.
followup, poked around the first area some more, until a random data slate i was reading became impossible to exit and i had to close the game. still no chaser
You won't find any chasers in level 1, they start appearing at level 2, but lemme tell ya, don't even bother, animations ain't worth it, and at that absurdly slow walking speed and absolutely mind-numbing "gameplay" I would just quit right now.
Still it crashed my system , with a 100% CPU usage and a 2% GPU usage. That tells me that the resourse usage is misplased. (It's probely a setting hidden in the Engine Menus)

Yes ruby only in paid version

what’s the point of a demo if it doesn’t let you see the meat of the game?
idk if it's me but the game is far to cpu heavy. from the taskmaneger i see that the gpu does nothing and the entiere workload falls to the cpu
change graphic settings
i played on low.
